Example: Team A odds 2.25, stake ৳200 — if you win, return is ৳450 (profit ৳250 + original stake ৳200). Team B odds 1.50, stake ৳200 — if you win, return is ৳300 (profit ৳100). In American format, minus (-200) means you need to stake ৳200 to profit ৳100.
The Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on any odds adds them to the bet slip. Enter your stake amount and the potential return is calculated automatically. This is a single bet — one bet on one event.
For a multi bet, several selections are added to the bet slip together. The odds of all selections are multiplied to give combined odds. You only receive the full return if every selection wins — if even one loses, the entire stake is lost.
Multi bet example: Three selections — odds 1.40, 1.50 and 1.80. Combined odds: 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.80 = 3.78 (approx). With a ৳100 stake the return is ৳378, but only if all three selections are correct. If one selection is wrong, the entire ৳100 is lost.
In a betting exchange market there are two options: BACK and LAY. BACK means betting in favour of a team winning. LAY means standing against another bettor by taking the losing side — the liability can be higher in this case. Example: to BACK Team A at decimal 2.50 with ৳1,000, if they win you receive ৳1,500 before commission; if they do not win you lose ৳1,000. To LAY, your liability against the bettor's stake is ৳1,500 — if Team A does not win you receive ৳1,000; if they win you pay ৳1,500.
The return is paid only if all selections win.
The difference between betting on Sports and Casino Games
